We offer a bespoke decluttering service covering anything from cluttered cupboards to a whole house. We offer other services, such as packing up houses for house moves or following a bereavement. Our service covers your indoor and outdoor areas.
 
Along with competitive prices, most importantly we will offer support, understanding, compassion and empathy. We believe that a decluttered and organised environment improves your mental wellbeing. Our service is non judgemental and we understand how difficult making the initial contact for help can be. That is why we offer a free non obligation consultation to every potential client. All of our staff hold a current DBS check and are fully insured.

Not every client is ready to start the decluttering process. This is where coaching will be used for you to overcome the challenges preventing the declutter and progress to decluttering and achieving your goals.

House Packing

Moving home is in the top 4 of stressful situations we face. To help moving as easy as possible we offer a packing service. This can include a declutter, or be a stand alone service.

Our packing services ensure a smooth move or assist after a loss, with care and efficiency for your belongings.

Personalised Organising / Hoarding

We have worked extensively with hoarders and have a sympathetic, patient and effective approach to hoarding. Given the emotional effect that decluttering has on a hoarder, it is often felt that shorter frequent sessions are more effective for the client.

We offer customised organising plans to fit your specific needs, enhancing your home with practical systems and order.

Bereavement/moving into a care home

We know first hand the emotional difficulties that are faced when you have to sort the home of a loved one, whether from a bereavement or a decline in health prompting a move into a care home.

DeClutterbugs offers a sensitive and empathetic approach to this. We can assist in packing up all items that you would like to keep. This allows you to remove the boxes and store them until a time you feel emotionally able to sort them yourself. We can then (after discussion and confirmation with you) assist in the distribution of the remaining items, for example taking to charities or donating to community groups.

Mental Well-being Focus

Our services are designed not just for physical spaces but to promote mental clarity and peace.
 We are experienced in working with neurodivergent clients. At the consultation stage we will discuss which ways of working are most comfortable and suitable for you. This may be looking at how time scales are structured or moving parts of the process to video calls rather than me being in your environment.

your Decluttering expert and bring empathy and experience to the process.

Competitive Pricing

We provide high-quality services at affordable rates to make decluttering accessible to all.
We offer an hourly rate with a minimum of a 2 hour booking. For large decluttering jobs (4 rooms or more) we can offer a package price.
 
Mileage will be an additional 45p per mile for distances further than 10 miles of CV7 8BZ
Should there be parking charges these  will also be payable by the client.

Further information

Cleaning.
The space that we are decluttering will be cleaned by us. Cleaning products and appliances will be supplied by the client, unless otherwise agreed.

Recycling.
Declutterbugs will remove up to one car load of reusable items per visit. The price and time for this is factored into the price we agree before the decluttering begins.

Waste.
The disposal of waste is the clients responsibility. Declutterbugs are able to make the arrangements for waste removal (skip etc) if required to do so by the client.

Deposits.
We request £25 deposit upfront and the remainder upon completion. Should you wish to extend the service then we will discuss the effect on the payment. Payment is via cash or bank transfer.
